What is Bridle Leather?
Bridle leather is traditionally used by saddle makers and is incredibly strong, weather resistant and durable. Don't be fooled however, the fit, finish and quality of this particular leather is second to none. Each piece of leather I use is cut from the hide by me. I take great care in selecting leather to use for my products, and the bridle leather I use is no exception. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, I am more than happy to help out in any way I can.
Brushed Bridle Leather
I have personally developed a technique that gives bridle leather a 100% unique vintage look and feel. This process is exclusive to David Lane Design, and the results give the leather a finish that looks and feels like a fine mahogany wood grain. The images just don't do the leather enough justice. The colors and textures literally change with every different angle you look at the strap from. Here is a detailed image of the brushed bridle leather in chestnut.
