What is Military Leather?

Military leather is cut from various pieces of vintage military equipment. I utilize leather from ammunition pouches, bags, belts, suspenders and clothing. Each strap is 100% unique and one of a kind. Because of the condition, age and source of the leather some marks, scratches and wear may be visible. This is the best feature of vintage and military leather in my humble opinion. No two straps are exactly alike, and the history of the leather is part of your watch strap. Q:  I really like one of the military leather straps shown, but its already sold. Can I have one made exactly like it?

A:  Yes and no. When it comes to military leather, "exact" is only relative. In most cases I can reconstruct any strap to be very similar, however each piece of military equipment varies. This will have a direct effect on the color, condition and texture of the leather. Please email me and I will find a piece of military leather that will work for you.
